Over the last few weeks, we have visited the local museum and library at Helston. Both these visits have revealed wrecks that there are no readily available information for. The Helston folk museum has oil paintings of wrecks, not just the ship wreck itself but of the actual wrecking.

Jeune Oscar in 1862, searching the internet, there is no information on this wreck. It could be that the name is not correct. Searching both Jeune Oscar and Young Oscar, there are still no results apart from those back to this painting in Helston Museum.

Another wreck to try and find, this piece of coastline is showing itself to be a massive shipwreck grave yard.
